Over the labor day weekend we decided to spontaneously join a friend on an adventure to Bogotá Colombia. We started the trip with a food tour, and a delicious one albeit. The tour commenced at one of the cities oldest restaurants, 110 years old and going strong, the owner – Julio Rios – was a character and very proud of his treasure to the city – Las Margaritas. What to order: ajiaco [soup]; empanadas; and wash it down with a ‘Refajo’.
Location: Bogotá, Chapinero district, Colombia
